CAN I GET A SHOT OF CATNIP INSTEAD OF HAVING IT MIXED IN A DRINK?

No, we will not sell a shot on its own or add it to an alcoholic beverage. We want you to enjoy this product safely and responsibly.

HOW IS THC LEGAL IN TEXAS?

Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp became federally legal and in 2019, Texas adopted HB 1325 which legalized hemp in Texas. This means <0.3%Delta 9 THC can be put on a dry weight basis into products. The THC we are serving is a legal hemp-derived product.

IS THE THC IN CATNIP THE SAME AS IN TYPICAL CANNIBAS?

Yes, THC is THC. The compound is the same, ours is just hemp-derived which qualifies it to be legally sold in places like Texas. And Delta 9 THC, like what is used in our product, is the main psychoactive cannabinoid in marijuana.

WHAT DOSE SHOULD I START WITH?

We offer a .75 oz shot as an additive to your favorite NA beverage. A .75 oz shot contains 5 mg of THC. This is considered a low dose and a good place to start. We will not add more than a “double shot” (1.5 oz, or 10mg of THC) to any single NA beverage, as a policy. 

WHAT EFFECTS SHOULD I EXPECT?

The great thing about CATNIP is it’s a shot mixed into an NA beverage. You’re drinking it over time instead of eating an edible all at once, so the effects should subtly build as you continue sipping. Expect to feel relaxed and euphoric. Note that effects can take up to 30 min to 2 hours to hit.

WHAT IS HEMP VS. MARIJUANA?

Hemp and Marijuana are both two terms referring to cannabis. Anything <0.3% Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis is considered hemp, but both hemp and marijuana contain THC.

WILL I FAIL A DRUG TEST?

Yes, hemp-derived THC will still flag a drug test, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should seek medical advice from your doctor prior to consuming.
